ToupTek XCAM camera is a multiple interfaces (HDMI+USB2.0+USB Flash Drive), so X here means multiple interfaces CMOS camera and it adopts ultra-high performance CMOS sensor as the image-picking device. USB2.0 is used to control camera functions via XCamView graphical user interface. The USB 2.0 port can also be used to connect a USB flash drive for storing photos and videos. XCAMLITE4K8MPB-MINI camera can be used as a stand-alone recorder when used with an HDMI monitor or television, or live-streamed to a PC for image-capture and video-recording.

The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus.
