TS-M7 object-micrometer for the calibration of the microscope imaging systems and linear measurements with two horizontal scales 1mm 100 DIV 0.01mm and 10mm 100 DIV 0.10mm

The TS-M7 calibration slide micrometer object of reflected and transmitted light is a means of measuring reusable use.

The TS-M7 micrometer object with two horizontal scales with a step of 0.01 mm and 0.1 mm per 100 divisions for calibrating microscope visualization systems for measuring linear dimensions.

The calibration slyde object-micrometer OMOiP-M7 is designed to calibrate the measurement system in the visualization and documentation program for analyzing microscope images and to obtain the possibility of measuring the size of micro-objects in real units. Having taken snapshots of the image of the micrometer scale at each working magnification of the microscope and indicating the known distance in the calibration mode, in the future, the software will independently calculate the dimensions on the image of the micro-object in real units (nanometer, micrometer, millimeter, etc.).

the micrometer object is a transparent Schott glass with two micrometer scales applied to it:
1. The scale is 1 mm long, 100 divisions, with a division price of 0.01 mm, which is 10 microns.
2. The scale is 10 mm long, 100 divisions, with a division price of 0.1 mm, which equals 100 microns.

Both scales of the object micrometer are located horizontally (X axis). The difference in the scale division allows precise calibration at all working magnifications of microobjects in a wide range - 10 times magnification up to 5000 times optical magnification. It will become easy and convenient for you to measure microobjects ranging in size from a few micrometers to a few centimeters.

The subject table of a laboratory (both medical and biological) microscope has a movement scale. Using the micrometer object, it is possible to calibrate (i.e., calculate the coefficient) the conversion of the divisions of the scale of the subject table to real units in micrometers or millimeters. A scale with a division price of 0.01 mm is inscribed in a circle with a diameter of 5 mm for the convenience of visual adjustment of the eyepieces and the search for the scale. A scale of 10 mm in length, 100 divisions, with a division price of 0.1 mm, which is equal to 100 microns, is convenient for stereo microscopes and for microscopes with a small increase.

The micrometer object is used to calibrate both digital and just optical microscopes. Calibration or verification of the microscope measurement scale is carried out both in transmitted and reflected light, luminescence, polarization, phase contrast, dark field, etc.

The size of the glass of the object micrometer is 25.4 mm x 76.2 mm, which is equal to the size of a standard glass slide used in microscopy.

Setup and calibration.
1. Place the calibration glass on the microscope slide.
2. Select a working lens and set the maximum camera resolution.
3. Get a clear image of the scale on the monitor screen and take a picture of the scale.
4. Call the "Calibration" command in the program used.
5. Indicate with two clicks the beginning and end of the line and enter the value of the line length in real units.
6. Enter a name for the calibration setting and save the result.
7. The program will remember the coefficient, and in the future you will be able to choose any unit of measure, all results will be recalculated in accordance with your choice.
